This 2.5-day course provides an entry-level framework to help you make wise decisions when travelling by snowmobile in backcountry winter terrain. Whether you’re new to the sport of snowmobiling or you’re looking to reinforce or upgrade your understanding of potential hazards in avalanche terrain, this course is for you. This program is based on a curriculum established by Avalanche Canada and is a blend of indoor theory and in-field practice training.
