Today Carl Kuster Mountain Park [CKMP] and Bombardier Recreational Products [BRP] donated a sled to the Sicamous Snowmobile Club to help with trail and cabin maintenance. The club also practises environmental awareness by monitoring Caribou Closures, and will use the Ski-Doo to monitor the areas marked for Caribou wildlife.
“Sicamous club does an amazing job to keep the trails in top condition. Gord Bushell and other volunteers donate so much of their time and it’s a lot to ask for them to have to put extra Kilometers on their personal sleds each year. Plus having an extra sled to help out with Caribou monitoring on Queest and for cabin maintenance is good for all of us.” – Carl Kuster
Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club is a non-profit society that works to promotes the sport of snowmobiling in the area of Sicamous, BC. The areas they maintain and monitor are Blue Lake, Eagle Pass, Owlhead, and Queest.
