Carl Kuster

CKMP is the dream of Carl Kuster, former Snocross racing star on the Blair Morgan Racing Team. While Carl was well known for his Snocross and X-Game accomplishments, his father Jim Kuster introduced him to mountain riding at the age of 10 and it has been his true passion ever since. This 30 year love and infatuation for big mountain riding lead him to create CKMP in the Monashee mountain range of British Columbia in 2008. Carl is an outstanding and patient teacher. He can improve the skills of even the most experienced backcountry snowmobiler.  Obtaining a mechanical background from working at his parent’s dealership from a very young age, he eventually attended Fairview College to be a journeyman motorcycle mechanic. All these attributes together help him contribute to partners like BRP the evolution of the snowmobile industry and backcountry riding experiences.

Carl’s Family

Shelley and Carver are very active, just like Carl.  Here they are enjoying a day dirtbiking!

Carl, Shelley and Jim in the Mountains

Jim and Carl spent quite a bit of time in the mountains when Jim was still with us.  This was a particularly stunning day.

Claudette and Carver

Both spend a lot of time in the shop. You might say it’s their favorite place to be! Claudette spends her days managing parts and mechanics while Carver skateboards in the 4800 sq ft shop.

Carver Kuster

Carver is the product of two athletically bodied people with a passion for motorsports!  He is 6 years old and rides with his mom and dad on family snowmobiling day trips, dirtbikes, and goes skiing in Revelstoke.
